Rebeka M. Takayama concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation, employment litigation, as well as administrative law and regulatory matters.

Takayama has extensive experience in Hawaii and Japan, having worked at both a large Honolulu law firm as well as at international law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in Tokyo, where she focused on general corporate matters and disputes.  She also spent a one-year term as a law clerk to the Honorable Christine E. Kuriyama, First Circuit Court of the State of Hawaii.

She received her B.A. from Clark University and her J.D. from the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law. Takayama also spent a semester in Japan studying at Temple University in Tokyo.
